Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Do I have to have an account to make a purchase?  
Yes.  It's simple, easy and free to set up an account.
2.  How do I set up an account?
You can create an account at any time during your shopping or checkout process. Simply navigate to the person icon in the top center banner and within the Create Account , enter your name, email address and create a password to set up your account. 
3.  Do I have to set up an account every time I check out?
No.  Once you create an account, you become a registered user and only have to log in the next time you are shopping with us.  
4.  Help, I forgot my User Name
That is not a problem, your User Name is your email address that you used to create the account.  If you do not remember your email address, just give us a call. 
5. Help again....I forgot my password. 
That is okay, simply click on the Forgot your password? link on the Login page and we will send you an email to reset your password. 
6. What desktop web browsers do you support? 
For the best experience, we recommend you use the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari.
7.  Can I shop from the Georgia Secretary of State store on my phone or iPad? 
Yes you can!   The site is a responsive design that will adjust to your device. 
8. I can't locate the list or roster I am looking for.  
You can enter the title of the list or roster you need by entering it in the search field (magnifying glass icon on the top banner) or by viewing each division.  For example, if you are looking for the license roster for the Water Operator Class 1 License Roster.  You can search by the keyword "Water" or by navigating to the License Roster pages and  scrolling to the W section to locate that list. 
9.  What are the Terms of Service for your site? 
Well, pop you some popcorn, pour an ice cold Coke and site back and enjoy reading all of the Terms of Service during checkout within the Terms of Service link displayed at the bottom of the page.  Our contact information is there, just give us a call at 1.844.753.7825 if you have any questions. 
10.  I know where it is, but can't remember the name of the county I need a Voter List for.
We have placed six maps on Home page for you to view county details by County and District with views for Congress, Senate, House of Representatives, Judicial and Municipal.  Scroll to the bottom of the Home page and click the links to view each of them.   If you still need help with that, give us a call at 1.844.753.7825. 
11.  I changed my mind and no longer want to purchase some of the items I have placed in my cart. 
That is okay, folks change their minds.  Navigate to My Cart and edit the number within the QTY field or select the trash icon to remove the item from your cart.  Click the Update Cart button to see the changes made. 
12.  I click the Checkout button but the screen will not advance to the payment screen. 
The reason is that a customer must agree to the Terms and Conditions every time they make a purchase.  We do provide you with a friendly prompt. To read them, click on the text Terms and Conditions on the Checkout page above the Subtotal line.  When you do, they will display in a separate window.  After you have read them, close that window and check the box next to I agree with the terms and conditions. 
13.  I am purchasing only two county voter lists, how do I let you know which two? 
While we are a super smart staff, we are not clairvoyant. We do need you to tell us. On the checkout screen, enter the names/district numbers, etc. on the Checkout page in the Please leave special instructions below section. 
14.  What type of credit/debit cards do you accept? 
We will accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Apple Pay.  We do NOT accept Pay Pal or Amazon Pay. 
15.   What do I do if my credit card is declined? 
First ensure you have entered the card number and expiration date correctly.  Then double check to ensure that your billing address and zip code are correct.  This billing address can be different than your shipping address.  This billing address and zip code are the same as the address where your credit card statement is mailed.  If that is correct, double check that you have entered the CVV (security code) correctly.  If you have entered everything correctly, but the order is still be declined, we suggest you contact your credit card company or bank for guidance. 
16.  How long will it take for me to receive my paid order? 
The normal production time is 1-2 weeks.  
17.  How can I call the Secretary of State's office? 
You can speak to someone in the Atlanta office at 404.656.2881, the Macon office at 478.207.2440 and the Tifton office at 229.391.3732.  That's right you can speak to someone, not a recording, but a live person to answer your questions.  That is as long as you are calling during our business hours of 8:30am-5:30pm.  Because as much as we all love our jobs, we like to go home at night.
